The Vancouver Chinatown Foundation’s Autumn Gala is the organization’s annual fundraiser, bringing together business leaders, philanthropists, and community partners to celebrate the ongoing revitalization of Chinatown. I developed the illustrations for the 2026 event, working from the founders’ direction to build a premium, elevated visual language rooted in Asian typical flowers (Chrysanthemum and Red Orchids) and a bold red palette. From that illustration foundation, I extended the identity across the full suite of gala materials: the invitation (email and print), the event program, and the event’s landing page, creating a cohesive, premium but celebratory look befitting an evening centred on Chinese culture and traditions.
